Anything by Katy Perry, starting with “I Kissed a Girl”. Seriously, isn’t the idea of straight girls making out with other girls in bars to get guys’ attention a little passé? And in any event, she’s a grown ass woman in her 30s and not some attention-hungry college coed, so grow up, already! I feel like all of her songs are from the vantage point of a precocious teenager and it’s just silly.
And yeah, Rebecca Black’s “Friday” is a dumb song, but since when has fluffy teen girl pop been lyrically profound?

Oh, I also agree with that new Maroon 5 mick Jagger song. God awful! Bruno Mars is on the overplayed list. I detest the grenade song. Maybe bc it reminds me of jersey shore?! lol…There is so much garbage these days that I’m so thankful for pandora. I saw Entertainment weekly put a list of worst 90s songs. Here’s the link:
I agree on all of them esp #1! Where was Color Me Badd?! Lol remember them

thats right!! I can’t even hear a song with a Nicki Minaj cameo in it. Lil Wayne is also pretty damn annoying. One lyric of his: ‘My money’s like Doritos, it’s nacho cheese’ oy vay

For ANYONE saying Rebecca Black’s “Friday” .. you gotta see this, if you haven’t already.

Oh God! What don’t you love about hearing a computerized voice going, “Fuh lyfe” sixty or eighty times over and over? And Lord knows I love some loud, obnoxious, repetition of “Like a dungeon dragon” with ear bursting bass behind it. Ugh, I have a friend who blasts Nicki Minaj in the car. I have one question, what is a dungeon dragon and what does it do? Is she referring to actual dragons?!
Lmao! All along the watchtower just came on the radio. Reminds me of Forrest Gump!

Haha, I like this thread.
I normally don’t like Lady Gaga, but I LOVE “You and I” for some reason!
I hate “The Lazy Song” by Bruno Mars, pretty much anything by Rihanna – especially California King Bed…the line where she says “and a little last night on these sheets” makes me cringe. Wash your damn sheets, you nasty ass lady. I don’t like anything by Pink either. I think she needs to grow up and stop singing about drinking.
Oh, and that “How to Love” song by Lil Wayne. I like Lil Wayne. Me no likey that song. “Rolling in the Deep” I did like, the first 35,000 times I heard it. Adele has such a beautiful voice, but that song warrants an instant channel change.

I can’t believe “What’s Up” by 4 Non Blondes was on that list. I love that song!
