WHAT. That is so not okay, if I were the groom’s mother I would probably have ripped up the marriage certificate.

Wow!  I can imagine being upset, but punching the person you just married?  Not a good way to start a life together.  I’m the total opposite – I probably would have laughed because my Fiance and I are really clumsy dancers.

I wasn’t a guest at this wedding but I was in Vegas in June last year and we saw a bride and groom having a huge fight in the CP lobby.. the Maid/Matron of Honor came and took the bride to a nearby bar to calm down. Then the groom came running over and flipped the table over and told the bride to fuck off. I’m guessing that was one of the worst weddings ever!

Dayum 😀 Whenever I go to a wedding I /always/ hope for a fight (you know how families can be). But I’ve never thought that maybe it’d be the bride and groom fighting each other.

I’ve seen many things that would be like “yeah that was kinda tacky”, but nothing to top that!

At first I thought that he stepped on her dress and made her trip, and in trying to get her balance she swung out and accidentally decked him. I have a pretty morbid sense of humor so I think shortly after that, I would have left and laughed all night with my BF about the wedding.

Man, I thought the totally dry wedding that featured line dancing and polka music was bad… but it didnt have fisticuffs! How exciting. Who’s taking bets on the happy couple?

..She punched him? Well, that’s a sign of good things to come. At least the wedding wasn’t boring, LOL!

I haven’t been to a wedding since I was 13, and that was my cousin’s wedding. Just a beautiful country club wedding, nothing fun! But I do remember going up to her and telling her she looked like Cinderella (she did!). That’s it, haha.

@givemecouture:  hahahahahha oh my gosh! How could emotions get THAT strong of a hold on you?! Man, even if it rained on my wedding day, my dress got shrunk in the wash, my moh didn’t show up, ANYTHKNG, I think I would be able to keep it together for the sake of appearances. I’d probably cry or get upset LATER, but during…. Never.

@silkspectre94:  I know hey?! I couldn’t imagine! The funny part came after… we met up with the groom for the wedding that we were in Vegas for and we told him about the fight we just saw and he went white. I guess his bride (who was kind of an antisocial b) was super stressed and kept snapping at him the whole time they were there getting ready for the wedding.

@bearlove:  AAAAH that’s insane! let’s hope it was just a moment of sheer stress and bridezillaness on her part, and that she apologized profusely afterwards. how embarrassing for them both.
