I know I should appreciate every gift….. but we received “his and hers” personal lubricant as a wedding gift.  I found it a little strange/inappropriate!

I got towels with the name “Mary” on them.  My name is not Mary… nor even an M name.

For my engagement party my Maid/Matron of Honor bought us a small bottle of hello kitty wine and 2 mismatched wine glasses…I was very confused. I opened the wine and it was the NASTIEST thing Ive ever drank. It was immediately emptied down the drain.

We got not one, not two, but SEVEN crockpots. Sure they weren’t all from the same person, but since we didn’t put one on our registry, everyone apparently thought we forgot, even thought we already had two! haha

We didn’t do a traditional wedding, but at my daughter’s christening someone wrapped up a jar of Smucker’s jam (the kind you get at the grocery store) and gave it as a gift. Erm… thanks?

Wow.  These are pretty bad.  I have to say. .I think my worst gift was a set of 4 plates just because it wasnt my taste.  But they had a return tag on them so I was able to exchange it for credit and got $60 for it and will get a little kate spade bowl with it or something like that.

We got a used cookbook (that had pages ripped out, things added, highlighted things, etc) in a baby shower bag. It was a little obvious they grabbed the first thing they could think of out of the house. It has some good recipies in it, but definitely a little odd.

I got a bad check for my first wedding. I think it wasfor about $40 but since I had the same bank as the guest, they wouldn’t deposit it and I tried twice!!
