(Closed) Worth exchanging for a smaller size ring?

    @judithsr: I think, if it’s a “temporary” ring, and he can shake his hand without it falling off, you don’t have much to worry about. If it was his dream ring, I would say probably resize it, just to be safe.

    Depends on the ring–if it’s gold or palladium or platinum–then I’d just get it resized.  But since they were inexpensive and are temporary–they are probably not made of material that would take well to resizing.  Also some can’t be resized–if his ring is titanium or tungsten then you have to exchange.  

    I’d probably exchange it if it’s an easy policy.  Even though it’s a temporary ring, he’d be bummed if it fell off and you’d have to buy a new one.  Changing it out for one a half size smaller will make it more secure.
