I really like your art carved setting. it might look a little bit bigger if it were in a 6 prong cathedral setting with a thin shank. If that’s what you want then go for it!

Oh I love your current setting. But if you are going to change it I like the second picture. Could you do that one with 6 prongs? I love 6 prongs for solitaires.

I really like your setting too! Would you keep your current wedding band? Would it sit flush with that second setting? it looks like the basket kind of juts out a little? I used to never like 6 prong settings. I thought it covered up too much of the center stone. But I am starting to appreciate them much more!

I’m a fan of your current setting, I think it makes your ring stand out as something special and very unique. But do whatever your heart desires!

TrueLove407:  I think different wedding bands really do change the overall look a great deal, so I’d wait to get the new wedding band, wear around the new set for awhile, and then decide if you still want to change the e-ring setting. Can’t wait to see the new band!!

I like that your current setting is more unique than the 2nd and 3rd pics.

But of the 2nd and 3rd I prefer the cathedral NON basket setting. I feel like the basket hides too much of the stone.

I for sure would wait until you have that new wedding band. I think it will totally change the look. At that point, you may love it as is. Or know that you want to change it!

TrueLove407:  I absolutely love your current setting, it’s by far my favorite solitaire on WB. Of course you can do what you want, but I’m crossing my fingers that you keep it the way it is

Wait for the band before you make a change! I also just adore your setting. It’s so unique and artsy. But of course if you want a soliatire, I am a soliatire gal, I understand!
