I think you should go try rings on because seeing it on and in person completely changes everything.

eco710:  mine is a .5 on a size 7 finger. I thought it was going to be way too small especially on a bigger finger, but I am impressed with how big it looks on my finger.

eco710:  I feel the same! I have .5 carat solitaire on size 8 finger and I love it!

I have a half on a size 6 and sometimes I think it looks almost like too much on me, so I’m sure it would look perfect on an 8! The cut is pretty important imo. If it’s cut perfectly, it’ll sparkly like crazy and look bigger (my last diamond was not cut as well and made a huge difference).

Mine is a 1/2 carat center on size 8.5 finger. I really think it all depends on the persons hands.
