    I think that’s such a great idea, especially for an older couple who (it sounds like) aren’t wanting for much.  I would love it if a friend of ours was artistic enough to do something like this!

    @atreyu547:  I think thats a wonderful gift! I have portraits of my dogs on the wall, and I’d happily hang a portrait of me and Fiance on the wall next to them.

    @atreyu547:  portrait is a great idea! Something personal is always best IMO, especially for people who need nothing. I wouldn’t bother with a gift card or anything additional either.

    For people who have everything & didn’t set up a registry, i think the portrait is a good idea.

    I think its a great idea. I know one of the few wedding gifts I am actually hoping for is a peice of art from my aunt. She is a very good artist particularly with water colors and landscapes. Been trying to figure out how to drop a hint to her lol. 

    I think the origional art by you would be very nice.
