I’m a size 18 and LOVE the Isadora Marie and am considering ordering it without trying to too, although I have a bit of time up my sleeve – if you do get it I’d love to see a pic!! ๐Ÿ™‚

If you’ve tried on dresses in a similar shape, I think you should be fine. And if you don’t like it as much as you had hoped, there are websites online you can sell it someone through. But hopefully you’ll love it as much as you imagined!

If you would like, I would love to help you by photoshopping the dress onto you digitally so that you can picture what you will look like in the dress.  You can PM me and I will give you my email address.  I do not charge, I just love weddings and I am a big girl that got frustrated with not findind sizes I could try on.

Honestly… I would not order a dress without trying it on. I took in pictures of dresses I loved and loved and loved. once i tried it on… not so much…

I ended up falling in love with a dress I would have never thought would look good on me until i tried it on!

I wouldn’t either–I actually just rec’d my Maid/Matron of Honor dress for my best friends wedding, nobody got to try theirs on, and we all ordered based on measurements…nobody’s dress fits and they are all going to require significant alterations–mine is actually going to require a corset back to be put in, instead of the zipper that is there now. I would advise against this unless you are getting the dress in time to order a new one if it comes in and doesn’t fit

I ordered one without seeing it. It fit like a glove.

@marylandnurse: that sounds like a measuring or reporting problem.

This is what I would do:

Try on a dress in the same cut – make sure you like the natural waist ball gown

Then go into a store which carries the dress and look at it. Make sure you like the lace and the netting it’s on and the flowers etc… It looks a bit different in person than it does in the pictures.

If you are satisfied with both of those options then I say order it!! ๐Ÿ™‚

I won’t waste my money to get a dress from online shop that doesn’t suit me when i try it on. And I think it wastes my time to get refund or replacement. My suggestion for you is try on some dresses in local store and then find similar ones online if you still wanna online dress. Good luck

Hey Becky, am glad to hear it went well! Can’t wait to see a pic of it on when you get it ๐Ÿ™‚
