Just had a flattering offer to be filmed at my makeup trial and on the day of my wedding for the makeup artist to use on her website so it will show brides how she works. The only thing I was concerned about is that we will have a videographer and a photographer already in the room for bridal prep and I didn’t want it to be in the way of the footage they need to get? Because there will be an extra person filming in the room. Do you think it will be ok though with our videographer? I want to say yes but to make sure it doesn’t interfere with the videographer we have whilst filming bridal prep. She only needs snap shots and I assume the videographer won’t film the entire makeup process? What are your thoughts on this?

Your best bet is to ask the videographer and photographer directly. I feel like they won’t really mind, but it would be good for them to know the makeup artist’s videographer will be there so they’re prepared.

Check if your contract with your videographer states anything about exclusive rights to the professional filming of your wedding. And of course if they would be okay to work around another person there

Talk to your hired photo/video people about this. If they agree, the best way to go forward would be if the makeup artist set up a discreet tripod and left the camera in one place, as to not interfere.
