my venue is located in a park. and although the venue is seperately run from the park, would you think i should prvide somewhere for guest to extinguish there cigerettes, i know smoking is frowned upon but i know a lot of my guests do smoke. the last thing i want is for there to be cigerette ends all over the place. it would look horrible and not to mention the poor park attendant who would have to pick them up… is this something i should concern myself with or should i leave this to the venue to deal with. i have noticed there is no facility for smokers and as with all premises in england they are none smoking inside.

I think DIY’ing a couple of nice butt-holders would be really nice. Maybe even make a cute smoking section sign so your guests know where to extinguish. I can’t imagine you need more than a deep canister and sand. And some artistic ability to make it look nice.

I think a metal bucket with sand on it should be a cheap alternative for that. Then you can put a sign up next to it.

I think that makes a lot of sense!
