Meh do it. It’s not going to matter in the long run and I don’t think anyone will be offended.

I don’t think so, just do it. 🙂

Unless they are very old fashioned people? Then maybe you should mail separately. THat being said, if they are old fashioned they probably don’t know what a STD is!

@Mrs Hedgehog: I was thinking the same thing about the rehearsal dinner…lol

None of my peeps are getting invites for that!

I think it’s totally acceptable.

You definitely dont have to do invites for the rehearsal dinner, but its a good way to catch everyone that is welcome so they know- since its usually a smaller group word of mouth is just as effective.

In my area, its custom to host dinner for out of town guests who come in the night before- we got this information from the hotel we blocked rooms at. Also our grandparents were invited even though they didn’t need to be at the rehearsal. So we opted to send invites.

Don’t waste the postage if everyone knows that they are invited to the dinner.

@Mrs Hedgehog:  You haven’t met my in-laws.  Totally dumb about wedding manners and stuff =(  And it gave me an excuse for more paper projects, haha =)

Maybe you don’t even have to give them Save-The-Date Cards since they will be coming to the shower and word of mouth will tell them when the wedding is.  Since it is common knowledge that you come to the bridal shower means you are invited to the wedding.  Avoids the miss step and saves the postage.
