I absolutely love my e-ring. Its an antique diamond cluster, and if i didnt have such strong pre-concieved notions I would totally wear it alone as both the e-ring and the wedding ring..but I think I would feel incomplete without a wedding band on..like I was still engaged and waiting to get married. I always imagined a plain 2mm gold band as my wedding band, but that doesnt fit well with this. Do you ladies have any suggestions on what I could do for a wedding band? Id love to see your pics of unusual e-ring/wedding band combos, and e-rings/wedding bands with gaps. Thanks in advance!

You could have a slender gold band made to fit under or around your setting, if you don’t want a gap. I had to have a band custom made, and it wasn’t terribly expensive (around $225). Your ring is gorgeous, by the way!
Here’s my solution. The setting kind of juts out from the band, which made it pretty much impossible to find a pre-made band to fit around it.

I’m seeing something like this curved to compliment the ring.

Gorgeous e-ring! And I love the band KatyElle suggested!

I’d recommend a custom band! I had a custom band made for mine so it would curve around and sit flush against my e-ring, and it was no more expensive than buying a band would’ve been!
You could still get the thin gold band you’re wanting, just make it a little curved on top. Also, it looks like your ring has some engraving on the band… you could have them match that on the wedding band!

@KatyElle: That is gorgeous!

Are those rose cut diamonds?

@KatyElle:LOVE! But I’m biased, because it’s almost exactly what mine looks like! Haha. Curvy band, milgrain edges, subtle engraving… sigh. 🙂

WOW!!! LOVE your e-ring! It’s spectacular!! I agree with KatyElle and others who suggest a custom band made to fit against your ring.

Thank you ladies! I think I’m going to go ahead and do the custom ring.
