I think it’s beautiful!  My ring is a diamond solitaire with noticeable inclusions and I *love* it.  It’s unique and any time the ring is worked on, I KNOW I’vegotten my stone back πŸ™‚

Honestly it would bother me. It’s not so much the fact that there ARE inclusions, but the color of them. If the inclusions were a more appealing color, I probably wouldn’t have as much of an issue with it.

It’s totally up to you, obviously, but I think they’re just too noticeable and I agree with KatNYC2011: they just don’t look good.

Hmm, the stone is very pretty. I think the one on the left bottom corner could kind of be covered up a little with a prong? The inclusions closer to the center may bother me too, but its hard to tell when you’re not seeing it in person. May I ask how big the stone is? I would think the bigger the stone the more obvious the inclusions in person? Its really up to you, I’m more of a type A personality so it would probably bother me, but some of my more free spirited friends would just absolutely love it for its natural beauty. Whoever cut thes tone did a very good job, very sparkly for a sapphire!

I don’t think other people’s opinions matter here. You’re going to get people who are totally against this stone no matter what…its different….people don’t like different. What I love about it is that it is different. No other lady in the world will have that stone making it uniquely special to you.

Unlike the other bees I am not at all bothered by the colour of the inclusions. Its very natural. I love the juxtaposition of the beatufiully cut sparkily sapphire vs the natural tone inclusions.

If its your love I say go for it, but expect to get some not so positive feedback from people as they adjust to this world we live in where sometimes things are just different!

@Blue-Bird: Are you able to see the stone in person before committing to it?

If you can see it in person (and ideally in a setting) prior to purchasing and you STILL love it, I say go for it!

I’d be worried about committing to buying a stone without having the option of seeing it in person.

I think its cool! Cool When I had my e-ring, my diamond had inclusions in it, I now have a moissy that looks a little yellow in some lighting, but I like it. I dunno maybe I am odd haha.

Personally they would bother me, and I’m not a perfectionist by any means. But it’s your ring so that’s what matters is that you like it.

I personally think it looks really cool, but then again I’m not one for pristine-looking jewelry – it just seems stuffy to me. If you like it, I say rock it πŸ™‚

I think it is a lovely stone but I also think the inclusions would drive me bonkers. My stone is smaller because I wanted to be “nicer” it is ideal cut and no visible inclusions which to me, personally was more important. But I think if YOU like it because YOU are the one who is going to be wearing it forever, then go for it!

I think its really beautiful! The only one i would be a little unsure about would be the bottom left one, but if it woud be covered (even slightly) by the setting i think it will make a stunning ring.

I think it’s really pretty!  And the color to the sapphire is gorgeous.   If you are wanting a very custom, contemporary, unique ring then it’s perfect.  I think it would be gorgeous in a half bezel or even as a solitaire.  I wouldn’t put it in, say, a halo.  Know what I mean?  I’ve seen some beautiful rings on Etsy that have stones similar to this.   If you are wanting something very traditional though, then you might regret it later on.
