If you want it, register for it. It doesn’t mean someone will buy it, but it will let them know that you do like it and want it. And you never know, you just might get it ๐Ÿ™‚

I think it’s fine!  This one will really only be used for birthdays so it’s perfectly reasonable to have a basic glass cake stand and this one.  Also, if/when you have a family someday, your kids will LOVE having this for family birthdays!

I view registries as a way to signal to those who want to get you something what you actually want.  Those who plan on getting you what they think are proper gifts will do so regardless of what you register for.
