I am having a terible time finding a reception dress. I already have my wedding dress but since our reception is going to be a few weeks after the wedding I want a different dress for that (our actual wedding is a private destination wedding). I just ordered one on Ebay got it today and it is the wrong size and arrived with some stains. I had a friend get married a month ago and I LOVED her dress it would be so perfect. None of the same people will be at the wedding. Would it be totally rude of me to ask her if she would sell it?

It’s not like you’re asking her for her dress for free. If you’re willing to give her a nice offer I don’t see why you wouldn’t ask. The worst she can do is say no.

I think it’s fine. Just say, “Hey, I loved your dress, and I was wondering if you were thinking of selling it.”

Thanks girls I already sent her an email. I wrote “Hey I know this is such a random question but your wedding dress was so amazingly beautiful and I was wondering if you ever considered selling it?”

I don’t think it’s rude to ask her, but my guess is she will say no.

I think you should def ask her! She will probably be flattered that you liked her dress that much.
