Doesn’t matter how much you paid for it, it should be a high quality item! I’d go in and show them the asymmetry, if they dismiss you just keep talking about that it should be set straight. Possibly even draw in lines in a computer program to show how it should be sitting straight around the stone.

gemma91 :  My diamond is .50 and it was my fiance’s late mother’s. I would NEVER upgrade or change my ring. Ever. My wedding band is a .75 eternity..but I’m not married yet, so I can’t wear it! 

Even if I chose my ering..it would be quality over quantity.
