I’m in the minority but I would just get a marker and fill it in. But I hate going to the post office

Return it. They can fix that without making a new robe. It will be in pics and even though it is tiny – I had to look several times to find it…once YOU have seen it, it cannot be unseen and will bother you forever more.

What happened most likely is a tension issue. The white is the thread from the bobber. I worked in a embroidery shop. We would never send out anything that bad. But we did have a ton of fine tip sharpie markers. We would just color in some of the spots that were white. I would be upset and send it back or color it in if I didn’t have the time to deal with it.

I literally cannot see what the problem is.  Can someone point it out?

sosojamie:  I think it’s the gap at the top of the picture where it looks a little lighter.

theatrejulia:  That’s exactly what I was going to say. Purple sharpie for the win! Eff the post office. (Not really, I just hate going there too.)

I would just get some matching thread and do it by hand.  That little spot wouldn’t take 5 mins to fill in.  It would bug me as is, but it wouldn’t bother me once I fixed it.

I can barely see it and really, is it the end of the world? I’ve literally never worn my bridal robe since my wedding day. It’s in a box somewhere. I think that day of your wedding you’re going to have so much else going on that the lettering on the back of your robe  isn’t really going to be a factor. Some things you can choose to focus on and others I think you need to let go.

Is it the little spot on the last letter? It wouldn’t bother me but I’m not super picky and I probably wouldn’t have noticed to begin with. If it bothers you though, contact them and send it back!

Eh I don’t think you would actually have to do amy work of sending it back, they would probably just send you a new one. What would they do with a very specific monogram robe that you sent back to them? They can’t resell it. It’s nothing to stress over but it’s worth a try to see if it can be replaced, why not?

I think a sharpie is a terrible idea.  It’s never going to match and it may bleed on the fabric and forget about returning it after that.

I would not notice it and I don’t think you’ll see it on that one pic you’re gonna take with your BMs.  If it is even a little notacable photshop will fix it.

I also think that thye should not have sent it to you like that and if you have time I’d return it.  I wouldn’t pay for shipping either since it is their fault.

Star116062:  depending on the size of the buisness they may just fill in the gap in the existing robe.  Embroydery is pretty easy, I’m suprized the flaw would be there in the first place.
