Hi! So my boyfriend has asked me to start looking at engagement rings I like (ahhhh!) and the ring I’ve wanted since I was a little girl is a four-prong solitaire with a round diamond. Right now, this is the one I’ve chosen, probably with a .75-.80 carat diamond:
Simple, elegant, and timeless 🙂
Only problem: I’m in LOVE with this wedding band, and I’m not sure if they’ll match.
What do you guys think? Will they sit flush, and will they look nice together? I like the fact that the e-ring is so simple and the band is so intricate, but if that will look weird together, I’ll go with a simpler band.
Any advice would be lovely 🙂

I think they will look lovely together! Good luck.

Yes, I think they will look great together! The four prong setting is easier to get something to sit flush to it than a 6 prong setting. Nice choice!

the band is gorgeous. i don’t think it’s a perfect match but I personally like bands that look slightly different than the engagment ring.
my current band doesn’t match my current ring. the band you picked out actually matches my current ring — micro pave diamonds with milgrain detail.

I think they are both so pretty but I dont see them matching 🙁
the best thing to do is try, ty , try and try tem on together 🙂

Both rings are lovely… Hovewer in my opinion a 5 stone wedding band would match the eng. ring much better!
As the number of stones go up, you need to pay more labor charge, also.
If you consider this, you will be able to have a 5 stone ring, with the bigger stones!

I think those two rings would look very nice together! 🙂

I think they will look fab together. I have almost the same engagment ring, and I think basicly any wedding band will work with it because its so simple and classic. Like my wedding band is colored titainuim to macth FI’s. 🙂

The thing about a classic solitaire is that you can put just about any wedding band with it. I think those two would look great together.

I think you have to give it a try! I have the same type of solitaire that you are looking at and tried on some milgrain wedding bands but the styles just didn’t seem to match. The milgrain looks very vintage. It’s not that it looks bad though, you might like the combination! I ultimately went with a 5 stone band.
