I’d probably think it was some tacky gimmick.  Wouldn’t offend me, but not my style for a wedding.

Just the way you’re describing it (as in literally, your choice of words) it sounds like you are trying really, really hard to make this sound cool and hip. I don’t think anything that requires trying too hard is ever a good idea. Sorry.

If your venue is an historic museum, then I take back what I said…not the best or most appropriate idea.

I wouldn’t be offended, but I definitely wouldn’t be impressed.

My only concerns would be if the venue would allow it and that it might take away from your “moment.”

A little too wild and wacky, and a bit silly,  to me.  Especially if you’re having it in a museum, just seems out of place to me.  Can’t she walk alone or with a GM?

hmm, sounds different.  I think, for me, it would be more of a “WTF?” moment.  Not my thing, but if its what pops your toaster, then go for it!

That would be one fast trip down the aisle! Those scooters can really book it!

I kinda like the idea. I just think it would be “cuter” if they were younger. Kids going on teen might come across as disrespectful.

Would they wear helmets? That would be horrible if one of them fell and got hurt! Not to mention a liability to the venue and yourselves!

In the end though, at 12 and 13 I wouldn’t WANT to do that. I’d rather walk by myself “like a big girl”

Id go with skipping before razor’ing it down the aisle! =]

&& maybe im not up on being a kid but isnt that a little “old” for a razor?! or at least they aren’t very popular with the kids around our family/neighborhood! I dont mean any offense by this!

Why not? It’s your wedding and it’s suppose to reflect you as a couple. If you feel that she is too old to walk with a flower girl, but too young to walk with a groomsmen, then why not let her do her own thing? I would think, how refreshing it is to see a child be a child and not dressed up walking stiffly down the aisle. ^_^ I would probably applaud once she made it down the aisle! Does she know any tricks?
