Same, I’d prob be more annoyed that they were so thoughtless. But ultimately its not a huge deal.

I know for a fact my godmother is wearing “cream”.

No. Everyone’s eyes are on the bride, no one notices anything the guests wear. Who cares?

absolutely, i’d be upset. for the Epcot dessert party portion of our wedding, I might not be able to wear my gown (depending on if I book through Disney Private Events or with Disney FairyTale Weddings… DPE is cheaper) so I will have a white sundress instead.

if someone else is wearing white and i’m not in a gown… there is nothing to really make me stand out.

I totally wouldn’t care…i mean – its not like theres going to be anyone at my wedding that doesn’t know I’m the bride??  I’m fully prepared for other people to look better than me, cause i don’t really care about hair and makeup, and likely won’t be bothered to do anything terribly special on the day, plus i don’t want to look different than I would day to day.  But despite all that i”m the one getting married! people can just wear what they want.

My Future Mother-In-Law is wearing white… I haven’t seen it but its some sort of white top with a black skirt. I wish, wish, wish I had enough guts to say something but not going to let it ruin my day!

eh, 2 girls wore white dresses to our wedding. Couldn’t care less. Everyone could tell I was the bride, so it didn’t matter/ affect the day at all. 🙂

If someone wore a white dress that looked like a wedding dress, then yes.  Otherwise, I really wouldn’t care and I don’t see the big deal.  No one is going to mistake someone else for the bride.

For the most part, I wouldn’t care.

I’d be super happy if mom, Mother-In-Law or grandmas wore white.

I’d be annoyed but get over it if SIL(s) wore white.

Anyone else–I probably wouldn’t even notice!

Didnt bother me. A few of my guests wore cute, short white dresses. I didnt even notice until I saw pictures later on.

I’d just make fun of them with my friends/bridesmaids. It wouldn’t bother me that I wasn’t the only one in white, but sometimes you just have to laugh at people.

I didn’t even realize this was a rule before wedding bee.  I haven’t been to many weddings as an adult, and I don’t normally wear white anyway, so it’s never been an issue.

The only thing I would have a problem with is if someone showed up in a wedding gown. Anything else wouldn’t bother me in the least.

I think it depends on the dress and the attitude of the person wearing it. If it looked like a wedding dress, I’d think it was a bit strange that they were wearing it, but if they really didn’t realise it was bad etiquette I wouldn’t be annoyed.

I wouldn’t care at all. @lee ann- i agree- it would only be a problem if they wore a wedding gown style dress.

Eh no one is going to care if someone wears white besides the bride. I think is just silly to get up in arms if a guest wears white. Everyone knows who the bride is.
