    I wouldn’t gamble my life, even if it was only 1%….. well maybe if it was 99 odds to win $1 billion haha

    Heck no, my life is worth way more than $1 million, even if it were only a 1% chance of death.  I don’t buy lottery tickets ever anyway, though.

    depends on how old I am ๐Ÿ™‚ and if my odds of death are already greater than my odds of living

    Another interesting thought…would you get on an airplane if you knew you had a 50% chance of it crashing and you dying?! Most would say absolutely NOT, yet we all are so quick to walk down the aisle ๐Ÿ™‚

    $1mm is not worth my life no matter how good the odds.

    I would pass on that. Even 1% seems scary to me if I could lose my life.

    @Dell79:  An airplane crashing results in my death, a divorce results in me losing money and having to move. Big difference.

    No thanks, I like living too much and 1mm isn’t going to go THAT far.

    Is your husband a Redditor? That question was in AskReddit yesterday!

    I wouldn’t. One million isn’t worth the risk!

    We all have a 50% chance of dying everyday… 1% of dying vs 99% of winning 1 mil. I’d take that chance!

    @HappilyEverAfter54:  Wait, how do we have a 50% chance of dying everyday?

    @LGenz:

    theres never a guarantee your going to live til tomorrow… Car accidents, or anything- you have no way of knowing when your time is coming. Right? So you have a 50% chance of living and a 50% chance of not living through this day.

    Isn’t there some risk of dying everyday?  Every time we drive there’s a risk we could be killed in a car accident.  Every time we eat there’s a risk we could choke to death.  Every time we take a shower there’s a risk we could slip and fall and crack open our skulls and die.

    That’s my morbid way of saying yes, I’d take the 99% chance of winning the lottery since there’s probably a more than 1% chance (total risk) of dying every day when you add all those risks up.
