    Yes

    No

I would just never gamble. Period.

@HappilyEverAfter54:  I get where you’re going, but the options aren’t just live or die, there are tons of behaviors that influence your odds. The number is prob more like .000067% and by chosing to enter this lotto you’d probably increase your odds significantly.

I wish I was good enough at math to be an actuary.

@LGenz:  I totally get that, but I just think how its so funny how we are so quick to say yes to one thing and the other so quick to say absolutely not…

If the risk of dying was 1% everyday, I could expect to die within the next 4 months.  So yeah, there is a risk but it’s much lower than the 1%, so I’d rather skip it all together!  Especially if the $1 million is pre tax, haha.

    Interesting question!!!

Not worth the risk to me, I love life too much to gamble on it.

@HappilyEverAfter54:  I think you need to take a stats class.  If you play the lottery you don’t says there’s a 50% chance of winning and a 50% chance of not winning.  Undecided

Lol, your husband saw this on Reddit, didn’t he? I actually saw this question too and went to a random number generator, put it to pick a number between 1 and 100, thought of the number 27, and when it pulled up the random number it was 27! I would have died. So, no, I would not play that lottery.

Edit: Oops, Mole already pointed out the Reddit link!

1% is pretty high. I really really don’t want to die :p

It’s tempting but I’d have to go with “no chance in hell”
