I would be careful and she how her communication is and at what point you pay for the item.

I would see how she communicates with me. If she seems on point and returns the convo quickly I see no reason not to. We all have to start somewhere.

I would definitely try to get in touch with them now & see how they react when you mention that you are a little worried at the fact they are a new seller. Chances are if they want to be known as a reputable seller, they will answer all of your concerns and then you should know if you can trust them to come through.

I wouldn’t hold it completely against them that they are starting out, and chances are they will really want to make a good impression so that they can start building their creditability

Everyone’s gotta start somewhere, but I would negotiate on the return policy IN WRITING. If you don’t like the end result, since they are new, you should be able to return it for a full refund. If they are a new seller wanting to make a good reputation for themselves, then they will gladly oblige. If not. . .moving along!

I have two perspectives on this, so I may be a little biased.

    A) As a purchaser, I’d start with a convo and see how quickly and professionally they respond.

    B) As a new Etsy vendor myself, I’m happy to bend over backwards to make clients happy right now! Start up a convo and see where it goes, they’ll likely be more than happy to help you with your bouquet and really go the extra mile to get the sale!

Ktis is right, everyone has to start somewhere. Just because they vendor is new it doesn’t mean the product is bad. I’ve had bad experiences with reputable Etsy vendors and great experiences with newbies. It’s the person on the other hand that’s going to make or break the experience and sale!
