I’m debating whether or not to continue my gym membership and can NOT decide!
Here are the pros:
-It’s cheap. When I signed up (15 years ago!) I paid a bunch of money for the first two year with a renwal of only $60/year after that
Here are the cons:
-I haven’t stepped foot in the gym for the past 2 years. I’ve been doing group bootcamp type classes.
-I lost my membership card. I wanted to go check out a group workout class and ended up not going because they charge you (a while back it was $25) for a new card and I didn’t want to fork over the money
-The gym I can go to is kind of run down. The company has expanded their gyms and services but because I signed up so long ago, I only qualify to go to a certain level of gym (which was the only one around at the time).
I guess the only reason I’m hanging onto it is in case I ever change up my habits and start going to the gym instead of my expensive bootcamp sessions. And the fact that it’s so cheap… but, add up all the years I’m not using it, and it starts to add up.
What would you do?
