Find a used dress or something at a sample sale to do the trash the dress session. That is what I am planning

I sooooooo want to do this and since we did our own engagement photos our photographer will do a TTD if we’d like… I spent a ton on my dress though and I wouldn’t be burning it or anything- just getting it wet or a little dirty but not destroying it… I’d love to wear it again and have a little fun! I think they make for some of the BEST photos.

I wouldn’t sell my dress and I don’t know if it’ll ever be of use to anyone else so I’m making the most of it!

I think it would be fun, but I’d definitely use a different dress.

@MsPanda:  I’m with you. It is not a financial decision, but an emotional one. I would never be able to do it.

I wouldn’t do it..if I didn’t want to keep my dress I’d sell it or give it away before I’d trash it!

Once you buy that dress, it’s yours to do what you want with.

For myself, I find it wasteful.  The only trash the dress photos I’ve ever seen that I really liked were some of the couple frolicking in a pool.  They were lit beautifully, and the underwater factor made for some stunning pictures.
