You could place little notecards saying something cute about enjoying the centerpieces. I think that would get your point across. ๐Ÿ™‚

Me personally, would totally eat it! I could see how others might be reluctant though, so I second the idea of putting a cute little note stating that it is meant for eating. I love this idea! what a money saver!

I love that idea! and agree, about having a little place-card telling people to “enjoy!”

I would totally eat the centrepieces. Wow, that’s a weird thing to say on here for once… LOL! I would also name the table as per the type of cheese and do local cheeses with appropriate wine pairings with little blurbs about both. Mmmmm cheese….

I would totally eat it, but yes o would look for a sign first. I love that idea.

At first I would be like “Is it real? Can we eat it?” and if there was a little sign, I would eat it.

@MaggieMae2609: that is exactly what I am thinking… I might have to put food of sorts in the middle for a center piece as well since I am on such a tight budget! I am inspired =)

Edible centerpieces? Genius! I’d definitely partake if there was a note telling me to do so.

Maybe even have the bottle pre-opened both to let the wine breath and to make it easier to tuck in..
