I have always loved ball pits but I wouldn’t be keen on it at a wedding

Ball pits ROCK- but- if I’m wearing a dress, there is food around, people spill stuff, I just did my hair guys…. I think I would um… Pass…does his mean I’m getting old?  I love the idea… But it isn’t very inviting in reality. Maybe a Substitute that would allow guests to remain standing and with their shoes on…. A whole bunch of balloons strung up to walk through? A mini labyrinth ? Funny carnival mirrors? Bubble machines? Laser tag? Wii sports? Lawn JenGa? Bocci? Croquet? Mini golf? A balance board?

Anyone who says no to this has silly priorities… or perhaps not silly enough.

BUT one caveat – please tell people ahead of time to dress accordingly and not expect black tie. I’d jump in a ball pit in a formal gown but I’d have more fun if I weren’t.

I thought this was a joke at first… No way would I get into a ball pit. I don’t find them to be fun at all. A trampoline would be awesome, but only at a super casual backyard BBQ kind of wedding.

Not really.

It sounds cute in theory but not really too entertaining in reality IMO, plus, that’s a heck of a lot of plastic.

I would not participate in this.  It wouldn’t appeal to me on a normal day, and even less so while dressed up for a wedding.

Sorry, not my taste for a wedding.  But have fun anyway!

I didn’t like them as a kid and I wouldn’t like to play in one now. Sorry!

I got bashed for saying no to the bride who asked if a ferris wheel would be a good idea but I’m gonna party poop on this idea too, thumbs up to the bouncy house- thumbs down to a ball pit- what about getting some great lawn games giant jenga or bean bag toss?

I think it’d be awesome.  My friends had a bounce house at their wedding (“for the kids”, aka for all of we 30-somethings who are children at heart) and it was SO fun.
