I would definitely get a lift! I had (I’m sorry to say this) perfect boobs before getting preggo. 30DD/32D, super perky, just the right size for my frame. Ugh. I loved my boobs, lol. Now that I’m pregnant, they’re gigantic, and I feel like they make me look so much heavier (and not just because I’m also pregnant!). I am sure they are going to sag and deflate and just look super sad after BFing, so I would definitely get them put back to where they used to be.

PinkPearls:  I’m a 36D and I wish I had HUGE boobs. I’ve thought about getting them bigger but sooo many people say I would look ridiculous and I listened to them but man I seriously would if I had the money… Sigh….

Actually, I did get a “boob job”… But not a breast augmentation, I got a breast reduction. I was falling out of a DDD bra. I’m 4’11”, so my back was in such pain from them! If you do it, use Mederma for minimal scaring. Also, do NOT push or pull anything for a few weeks! The bottom of my left boob now has a thicker scar underneath because the dang stitches started to open up. It was very painful for a few weeks. I know it’s not the same surgery, but you’ll still have the under boob scar.

I’m a Dear Daughter so I guess I’m someone on the other side. When I was little I wanted to be flat chested or have very small breasts. I actually prayed to God asking that I didn’t get big breasts! They just seemed to get in the way and I was a tomboy. I hated that mine grew bigger than my Mum or sister (sister is an A cup, B at the most with a smaller band). But I didn’t want to be a person who disliked their body so I just learned to love them instead. I’d still love a smaller chest so I could wear fashionable tops and blouses but it just isn’t to be.

I’d probably look into getting augmentation if my breasts sagged drastically after children or age but I can’t say for sure.

I would love to get a boob job if it didnt involve surgery. Unfortunately I am allergic to perscription pain killers, so I try to avoid surgery unless completely neccesary. If they found some way to take all of the fat in my thighs and move it to my boobs I would be all about it though!

I’m a 32C so I’m pretty content with them the way they are. I’d consider a breast lift when I’m older, though.

I’m breastfeeding right now and I hate my bigger boobs! I love when he’s just fed and they’re nice and small, ha-ha. I miss my Bs! Maybe when I’m done with kids and breastfeeding I might consider a boob job only to get them perky again (my aunt described hers post baby as “tennis balls in the bottom of socks” – does not appeal!) but I wouldn’t want to add additional bulk that requires upkeep. Just a lift for me!

polyblonde:  thanks for the info. In your research did you happen to find any information on how often the implants need to be changed?  Also, in the event that you no longer wish to have implants,  is serious reconstruction need to address the excess skin? What about mammograms and MRI’s- do the implants get in the way?

I would never get a boob job because both Fiance and I think that smaller breasts are more attractive.

However, even if I was unhappy with my B-cups, I would never get a boob job because I am terrified of ever having surgery or going under anesthetic. Shit can kill you, man! I would never do it (and shell out all that money) for something that wasn’t strictly necessary.

californiabride2013:  i can answer some of these questions.

1. breast implants don’t have an across the board expiration date. it depends on the person, the surgeon, and whether you do anything to harm them. if you play extreme contact sports (wrestling, etc.) or get into a car accident it’s possible you’d need them replaced after a couple of years. there are other women who keep theirs for 40 years. i’ve had mine for 10 years and they’re still perfect.

2. you can still get MRIs and mammograms. you can also still breastfeed!

3. i would think the excess skin would vary depending on how large you go. if you were naturally an a cup and you go to a DDD you probably have a lot to remove. usually they use the same incision so there’s not actually an additional scar. i would assume they’d do the whole removal (skin and implant) at the same time.
