Why not? I don’t make a big deal out of my birthday at all (and haven;t since I was a teenager) so it would be just another day available.
No way! I already share my birthday with Christmas.
This is terrible but I was definitely thinking about this when we were picking a date. Our dating anniversary is right before Valentines day and every year I get stiffed. Now I will get a present once a quarter 😉
Probably not, but if we had no other choice I’d consider it.
I would have, had it fallen on a Saturday. I told my Fiance that our wedding had to be before I turned 30 so we picked the first Saturday before my birthday. I have four days of being a 29 year old newlywed.
I’m not even that big into my birthday.. but I just wouldn’t want to join the celebrations together. My birthday is in July and so is my husband’s, my brother’s and my father in law’s.. not to mention the 4th of July which is big in our family and my parents anniversary is in July. So it just would have been too much going on.
I totally wanted my wedding on my birthday this year, just for the fun date (I’m a 9/10 girl, so we’d be 9/10/11) but Peanut said NO!
I was surprised he felt so strongly about it, but I think he was right. I like having my birthday separate even though we don’t make a big deal about it.
Now we’re getting married 2 days after my MOH’s birthday. I’m toying with surprising her with a mini cake or something at the wedding, but I don’t want to embarrass her!
No way!! I love my birthday and would want to celebrate seperately. I actualyl thought about htis when picking our date and didn’t want it in my month (September!)at all…
No, but only because I didn’t want a fall wedding. HIS birthday would have been totally fair game. 🙂
When picking a wedding date, one reason we decided to get married on May 10th is that it’s 3 days after my birthday and 3 days before my husband’s birthday. Our birthdays/anniversary week has officially been named “Week of Cake Eating” and it is AWESOME!
Nope. I’m an only child and don’t know how to share very well.
eh i dont think so. but..
Anniversary/Wedding Day: Feb 12th
Valentines day: Feb 14th
FI’s Bday: Feb 17th
we will be on our honeymoon! its like a full week of celebration.
My wedding is 2 days before my b-day. My fiance and I wanted a Dec. wedding but since I’m Orthodox that is a no no, other road blocks ensued and we wound up with available dates of Nov. 19 (2 days prior to my bday) and Oct. 29 (6 days after fiance’s bday) Either way we were going to be close. It bothered me at first a little, but my bday isn’t really a big deal and it is 2 days apart so it shouldn’t be that bad.
