(Closed) Would you fly to the maldives being almost 11 weeks pregnant?

Yes! I would take advantage of this last trip before the baby comes in the mix

No, I would rather stay home instead of risking a bad honeymoon + spending tons of money on it

Go on a shorter trip (4 hours flight) to egypt instead of the maldives

@SoonToBee2013:  Hi, I wouldn’t fly at all as I’m a nervous flyer but that’s a different thing. More of a worry would be foods that you eat there. My two best friends went there on honeymoon and both had food poisoning. I would be extremely concerned if I had food poisoning in another country, pregnant. For that reason I wouldn’t.

Sorry, didn’t read your last update. I would suggest you read up on safe foods to eat to reduce risks and I’m sure you’ll be fine. It’s good to be prepared. Have a ball!!!

I would either still go, or go on the shorter trip, But it all depends on how you feel now. If you don’t have a lot of morning or motion sickness I’d go! During my first trimester I had terrible motion sickness, but I started to feel better around 11-12 weeks!

@SoonToBee2013:  I know you’ve booked now and are off soon, but one thing I didn’t see mentioned was insurance: you should call your travel insurance company asap and check that you are covered for anything relating to your pregnancy, as some companies exclude it, or charge a premium. So, do check before you travel.
