bubblebee123 :  I think the best course of action is to dump him in this situation.  Not just because of the kiss, but because LDRs really only work for some kinds of people and they are NOT the kinds of people who are tempted to kiss others when they are drunk.

Maybe one day if you are living in the same city you should give it another go.  But right now I don’t think this is the right relationship for him or you.  You aren’t going to be able to rebuild the trust in the LD context and it will eat you alive.

Honestly, I would have a hard time trusting again, especially because of the distance and them working together. This wasn’t some random chick. They obviously know each other well. I am also suspicious of the fact that she told you it was her fault. I’ve seen this before and usually it’s a way for her to look innocent and appear helpful, especially to him. He will trust her more and won’t alienate her because he feels she’s likely remorseful, when in reality, she’s just waiting for him to leave you or you leave him so she can step in. I wouldn’t trust either of them here. Good luck bee and sorry this happened to you.
