There are so many other perfumes out there, I’d stop wearing it and switch to something we both like.

I asked my SO to do this lol There’s 1 perfume she has that I just can’t stand…it makes me sneeze & I feel like I’m choking. So she wears it to work & by the time she comes home I can barely smell it and it’s completely tolerable. Just wear it when he’s not around! Don’t throw it out if you love it but you can wear it to work or a girls night or something

My husband HATED every perfume I owned when we met.  All of them.  Some I still get a little sad about.  But not having to listen to him making gagging noises as he sits next to me is well worth the sacrifice.  Even when I try to sneak one in (some of them were brand new and I LOVED them) they get on my coats, etc.  It’s now his job to pick out my perfume, I just ask that he try to not make me smell like a 13 year old or a cupcake (which he totally would if left to his own devices).  And he does pretty well.  Not what I would pick for myself, but I think that may be the point. ๐Ÿ™‚  And when I walk up to him now and he tells me I smell nice, instead of “what IS that?”, it’s worth it. ๐Ÿ™‚

@harleyq:  If I already BOUGHT it, I would just wear it to girls’ night outs or work or somewhere where he is not around. To just toss it out would be a waste. However, I would probably limit purchasing that particular perfume in the future to maybe only a small bottle or try to move on to a scent the SO does like eventually (for work/girls’ night outs/etc.).

I’d wear it until it was done and then never buy it again.

I’d wear it on days I wouldnt be around him much. Like wear it at work or out with friends or something.

I’d probably stop wearing it, not a big deal to me.

Yes. It’s just perfume! There are so many and I’d rather Fiance thought I smelled nice.

I’d wear it on days I don’t see him much, like work, girl’s night, etc.

I would stop wearing it. I would rather my Fiance think I smelled nice.

I’d wear when he’s not around. I’ve had to give up wearing all perfume because Darling Husband is allergic and sensitive to scents. I still keep a few bottles hidden and spritz myself when he is away. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yes I have. The only perfume he likes is Miss Dior Cherie.

I would, yes. Luckily, my Fiance told me he absolutely loves my perfume and never to change it. So I don’t plan to!
