You can go if you want to, but if it’s just a room full of bitchy women I wouldn’t. I also don’t think you should spend so much time dwelling on this type of high school drama.

I would not only go, but I would buy the best outfit I could and get my hair and nails done and go holding my head high just to spite her.  People like that are idiots, just spiteful, petty idiots.  Ignore her and go have a great time.  I have loved every reunion I have gone to.

No, I wouldn’t go, even though I’ve vastly “improved” since my horrendous HS days. I was invited to my 10 year reunion and I didn’t even have a second thought about not going because I didn’t want to relive that part of my life and many of my actual friends were not going either (for a variety of reasons).

I think she means this all sounds like stuff left over from HS … 15 years ago… people are still acting like they are in HS.

I’d avoid… especially if you ahve to travel across the country.

@starrynight:  Well worrying about whether or not it would be inappropriate for you to show up even though it’s YOUR high school reunion just because the woman in charge didn’t send an invitation because she’s a bitch is a little dramatic. Like who cares about her? Let it roll.

If the reunion will be full of wonderfully nice friends that you haven’t seen in a long time, I’m confused as to why you would question whether or not to go. But if it’s all a bunch of bitchy women who thrive on drama and not inviting people because she didn’t like a comment you made on facebook, then I’m confused as to why you’d WANT to go.

Also, were you commenting on HER house or some random person’s house?

@tksjewelry:  100% agree!

If you want to go, than go, its your reunion too. Funny that some women never grow out of their teenage years! This woman does not have to be your friend to allow you to go, her job as corrdinater is to plan the party and invite all the people that graduated that year.

@starrynight:  Email her and the other woman both and say that you are coming. And then go buy an expensive dress.

At this point in my life, it just would not be worth it to me to go. All of the stress and drama would probably keep me from enjoying myself.

I would not go because you would be subjecting yourself to disrespectful behavior and you will be forced to say something in anger that you cant take back. These people arent worth your time or energy and you deserved to be treated with respect.

Only go if there are people there you want to see. Honestly, I don’t know why there are such things as high school reunions. I have no interest in seeing a bunch of people who I wasn’t friends with. If you want to see certain people, though, go for it.

This rude women will surely not be the only person attending, it could be great fun to see what everyone else is upto these days, and play catch up. Most people do mature after graduation, unfortunately some never do.

I say go.
