I was messing around with Vistaprint, looking at all the different invitations and deciding wording and stuff. I came across the perfect invitation. Its in our colors, and its got a castle on it (our venue looks like a castle and is referred to Louisville’s castle by the locals.) We’re also both nerds and into Kings and Queens and stuff.
I even went as far as to find matching RSVP cards and placement cards. I added it all to my order to get a rough estimate (it came to $137.) Then I decided to browse around and see if I could find a good coupon. I found one for 50% off. That brought my total down to $71. A total of $66 saved!
Its a great deal, right?
But my wedding isnt until April of next year. Would it be silly to go ahead and order them? I dont know how often these 50% off coupons come out, so I’m worried I wont find when if I wait. And I dont know how often they discontinue stuff, but I’m also worried the designs wont still be there.
Heres a picture of what it would look like (it would have our lasts name on it.)
So? Would you guys order them or wait?

Do you have your guest list finalized? If not then I would order more just in case. If you are confident that you wont change your mind about them in a couple of months then I say go for it.

I would wait. Vistaprint has sales all the time. A groupon might actually be cheaper. Hard to say. The last thing you want is for things to change and then you’d have to get them reprinted again.

@FutureMrsJohnston: Yep, guest list is pretty finalized. We’re planning on about 60-65 people and this price is for 70 invitations. And some people (like our parents) wont even need them.
@Miss Panda: I saw a groupon coupon last week, but I think it was just for $50 off $100.

If you both want them, pull the trigger and order them.

I would wait. You can almost always find a Vistaprint coupon. Lots of brides change their ideas, themes, guest list, colors and more in the year before their wedding.

I would wait you never what is going to change. Vista print always has coupons & groupons.
