…you haven’t seen each other since you were toddlers, but there will be a lot of other family members there that you see somewhat frequently.
It will be at least 3 hours to travel to the wedding, but you drive the 3 hours when you go to visit the other family members.

I would. Could you spend the night with family or in a hotel in case you’re too tired to drive?

- Wedding: August 2013 - The Liberty House
I would definitely go, especially since we hadn’t seen each other in that long

Probably not. I’m always happy to see the extended family, but don’t like going to celebrations unless I know the guest of honor OR whoever is taking me as their date (which would be DH) knows the guest of honor.

Yes. I`d make a long weekend of it and stay at a nice hotel, book a spa day, do some touring etc…

Yes go. You get to see other family members and it could be fun to catch up.

Yes. I would do it. Three hours isn’t so bad. You’ll probably have a good time.

No, I wouldn’t go to anyone’s wedding if they aren’t currently in my life.

Yes, definitely. Making the effort for these kinds of things is part of what strengthens family bonds.
