I haven’t had any sort of cosmetic stuff done, but if I could–sure, I would! I would get lipo/ a tummy tuck (more for the honeymoon that the wedding!).

No definately not…but my wedding dress designer asked me if I was getting implants before the wedding. I looked at her puzzled and said no! and she started laughing and said…you’d be surprised at the girls that order their dress and then they get implants and the dress doesnt fit anymore. so apparently some people do!

But I will probably do Crest White strips and a spray on tan for the wedding…I dont think theres any harm in that!

If it was something that I had been thinking of doing previously, before the engagement/wedding planning, then yes. As long as it didn’t interfere or cause issues on the big day I don’t see why you couldn’t get it done in time for the wedding. But I wouldn’t go under the knife BECAUSE of the wedding. I think that is a silly expense that could be put to better use.

I am going through laser hair removal which started just after the engagement. I wouldn’t consider it as going under the knife but it was something I always wanted to do and the wedding was just an extra little push to get it done. It was more so for convenience. I wanted the least things done leading up to the big day and that includes the time/pain it usually takes for waxing (which I have hated for years!!).

I have been considering breast augmentation for a loooooong time now.  Actually, I’ve asked for boobs every christmas since I was 16!  So yes, to feel more comfy in my skin and make my curves totally kickin- I would def get a boob job!!

Pre-being engaged I’ve always wanted to so my answer would be yes IF I could…

    Absolutely not!  My wedding extravagances.

I bought and am going to wear make-up.  This is big for me.

I got my hair cut this year and I am going to get a trim about two weeks before the wedding.  (My hair is almost butt length and I don’t get it cut very often.)

I was going to get new lenses for my glasses, but I think that I’m going to run out of time for that.

I bought a face wash to use, but that was a mistake.  It made me break-out and it took almost three weeks to get my face clear again.

If I had the money, I’d get a breast reduction, it wouldn’t just be for the wedding. I’d want smaller breasts to feel good about my body every day, not just on my wedding day.

I will be getting waxed, whitening my teeth, and getting a facial, but that’s all stuff that I do on a regular basis anyway.

    No on surgery.

Not sure how to answer the ‘extras’ – I’m only doing stuff I’ve always done but I’m making sure it’s all done at the same time where usually I’m haphazard about it and rarely have everything done at the same time (like eyebrow threading/pedicure/etc.).

I’m thinking about highlights, not sure.

I voted no. I would never get any kind of cosmetic surgery just for looks ever. BUT then I realized that you had the section for extra treats like waxing, fake tanning, facials, etc. and the one about teeth whitening… I would have voted yes on these two things. I was actually thinking of getting my teeth whitened at my dentist’s office and for sure waxing but just the usual eyebrow waxing… not sure what to do to even out my color either… maybe the spray tanning thing but I’m scared cause Im not sure if its safe… So I retract my vote for a def no. 🙂

I know how you feel @vanilla frosting! I wouldnt get a boob job JUST for the wedding. it’s something i’ve always wanted. Even more now that I’ve had a child (yes they get worse after kids unfortunately). I’m doing the usual hair highlighted, teeth whitening, wax. no biggie stuff.

I’d like to say that I wouldn’t do anything too invasive to myself, especially just to have looked ‘perfect’ on my wedding day.  I did teeth whitening, and a facial.  And I worked my ass off at the gym but with no specific goal in mind, just to be healthy. But that’s about it!

I’m always toting a ‘be secure with what ya got’ message.  But I’ve always wanted bigger breasts.  I’m just afraid of all the complications that can come with having the surgery.  Plus, I’m really not that vain, its kind of just a fleeting thought everyonce in awhile.  So I doubt I’d actually go through with it.  If I had an extra few thousand laying around though, who knows?

I’ve seen it happen and its unfortunate, that brides-to-be seek this unattainable goal, perfection, for their wedding day.  But your Fiance wants to marry you as YOU.  So we get caught up in this craze and lose the whole purpose of the wedding.  So often I’ll look at friends from HS on FB and notice that they don’t look like themselves, some of them don’t look healthy, because they’ve pushed themselves too far.  Not cool.

Even though I want bigger boobs ( I barely fill an A cup) I would never get surgery to do so.  My Fiance says the good thing is they won’t be saggy when I’m old lol.
