- Wedding: October 2010
So, I posted before that my mother decided to buy me a wedding cake.
I’ve been talking with a bakery (out of state) that I felt really good about. Good communication time, good prices, knowledge of their products, and all that. So, I sent my Mom to go get samples so she could taste their products.
She said that their cake was delicious, that’s not the problem. And that they treated her very well, also not the problem.
But, she said the bakery was completely bare. An empty display window, and only one display cake in the shop, which was half done, old and ugly. The work on the website I like, and the samples were done very well, it’s just the store was not well presented.
Would this be enough to turn you away from them? It’s hard for me to make the decision when I can’t go there myself, but it’s the only real bakery in a small town (unless you go with a grocery store or Wal-Mart), so it’s not like they have a lot of competition.
How would you feel about this?
