Since I live in Florida, I can tell you that July here is miserable. Like, Hell on fire miserable. I live about an hour from Disney and my sister works at Universal Studios so I can tell you it is hella PACKED in the summer, too. Just something to consider for your honeymoon. Also, I have been on a Disney cruise at the end of November and it was still VERY warm in the Bahamas. And the cruise was AWESOME!!!

I would never want to be prepping for finals the week before the wedding and writing immediately after the wedding. Because of that, I say July. The week before the wedding was insane, and you would have a lot of stress.

My wedding was in July and to be honest, it was way too hot. I was sweating in church.

I would also choose the Bermeo dress by Pronovias if I got married in the winter like I’d wanted lol. I always thought the Bermeo was not a very ‘summery’ dress. Loved it so much though and would have loved to wear it in December.

I hate summer, so I would choose December.  You should get married in the season you love though.

I would go with summer.  I know people are saying December will be cheaper and all that but on a date like 12-13-14 you will be paying extra for the fancy date.  The date will be more popular, so all the vendors will cost more.  It sucks but it’s true.  You also may run into problems with people using vacation time since people save it up for the holidays.  Plus I got married in the middle of classes and it was really hard.  You want the month leading up to your wedding to be class free.  Plus it’s REALLY cold in Michigan in the winter and you said you like summer better.

I’m biased because I am having a December wedding, but it’s my favorite time of year.  Choose yours.  ๐Ÿ™‚  July is perfect too!

Obviously you know my pick!  When I think of a wedding, I think of beautiful, sunny skies and warmth.

Personally, I’m just not into freezing my butt off.  My husband would have loved a winter wedding but it was just not happening in my world!

i vote december. it’s cooler, there’s better decor, venues are less money (it’s off season). plus, i like winter.

one thing to take into consideration, though: flights in december tend to be more expensive than in july. especially that close to the holidays.
