I voted “maybe someday”, but I wouldn’t get it just for the heck of it.

Examples of situations I would get cosmetic surgery:
    – disfiguring accident
    – mastectomy
    – tummy-tuck if I have a lot of flab after having a baby

I voted “maybe someday.”  I actually wanted a nose job for a long time when I was younger – I always thought my nose was too big, and it’s rather round at the tip.  However, I think I’ve grown into it a little as I’ve grown up, and I kind of like the roundness now (it’s one feature I share with my mother and brothers).  So, now I don’t think I’d do anything to my face, other than *perhaps* botox someday.
I definitely would, however, consider a tummy tuck/breast lift after I’m done having children if things are stretched out or saggy.  Hopefully my body responds like my mother’s (she’s almost 60 and I think looks fantastic), but I’m open to it if I’m not comfortable with my body at that point.
Also, I’ve had a few aunts get breast reconstruction after mastectomy for breast cancer.  God forbid I have that situation some day, but I know it’s a possibility – I would have breast reconstruction if I had to have a mastectomy.

BFF/MOH and I have every intention of getting what we call “the 60K mile overhaul”!  LOL!

Some time in our mid to late 50s we plan to get the slight face lift (rejuvalift?), and get everything else lifted and put back in to place.  Although, I will get my boobs done before that.  I’ve got big ones, and gravity has been working on them for some time, so I foresee a lift at some point in the next 5-10 years!

I’m all for plastic surgery, but I will say that I think that a good skincare regimen is the best thing you can do for your face, and for your skin in general.  I am a zealot when it comes to skincare!

@flamingred:  I agree!! There’s only two things I want done boobjob but more importantly nose job. I’m content with everything else, but I hate my nose! Hate it hate it absolutely hate it. Hate taking pictures because of how round it is and instead of “growing out of it” I just dislike it more everyday. Sigh, can’t wait.
