If money wasn’t an issue, I would get a chin implant. I basically have no chin and feel like Mr. Mackey from South Park.
Considering that I look like a shar pei after loosing so much weight (100+ lbs), I would do it in a heartbeat.
It’s sad that insurance considers it cosmetic in cases when it should be reconstructive.
Plastic surgery, no. But I’d get laser hair removal so I never have to shave again. Maybe Invisalign – as I get older, I do have one tooth that is very slightly crowded, enough that it gets painful when the air pressure changes and I’m tense. Never used to be a problem, but apparently with every day that I age, I get even more tense. I don’t see it. IT MUST BE A LIE, I AM NEVER TENSE. Ahem.
I’ve gone through a lot with this body. I’ll keep it as is. But without leg hair.
Girl yes. Im 10 weeks pp and I’d totally get lipo if I could. My husband did promise that after our last I could definitely get a tummy tuck if I don’t snap back! 😁
Definitely not. A personal trainer, chef, glam squad, facials all the time sure, but no knives.
I’ve always wanted a chin implant because I feel like I have a very weak chin. So weak that if I gain even the teensiest amount of weight around my face it looks like I have a double chin. I even looked into the surgery, but unfortunatly I don’t think I’d be a good candidate.
What I WOULD have done of money was no issue is sort of like plastic surgery. Now, I am currently 36 weeks pregnant with baby #1. I would put all this off until I was done having children (the plan is to have three).
I would get laser hair removal on my legs and bikini area. I DID have my underarms done and am a great candidate for laser hair! I’d have my underarms ‘touched up’ because the hormones from my pregnancy caused about 10% of the hair to grow back (which is common). I’d also have all my strechmarks removed via microdermabrasion. For my ‘grand finale’, if I were a good candidate for it I’d have laser skin tightening done on neck, under chin area, arms and post-baby tummy and thighs. My pre-pregnancy weight was 190lbs (I’m 5’10), and I really loved the voluptuous, 1950’s pinup figure I had going on. But I will likely need a little ‘smoothing out’ when I am all done with pregnancies.
I wouldn’t. I love my body. No need to change anything.
I’ve been under anesthesia twice. Once to remove a polyp. And once for liposuction to remove saddle bags in my earlier twenties. Always said I’d have it revised and get a boob job. But as I get older eh. I don’t know. I’ve had kids and fortunately I don’t look much different than before. If I have another and need a tuck I’d do that. I’ve never had anxiety going under anesthesia but I was in the hospital after I lost my first and they gave me something to calm me down and rest but it out me out in terms of my body but not my mind. I was fully conscious and aware and could hear everything around me but not respond, for what seemed like a long time and in reality I’m sure it was not more than a few minutes but it freaked me out. I woke up and started to hyperventilate even though I never had an actual issue with anesthesia and the two experiences are in no way related. it freaks me out still to think about. I consider myself a pretty strong person not prone to panic attacks or the like but holy crap that was scary. So while I’d have surgery again I’d be nervous. And again that experience was not even due to anesthesia. Not related but arrrgghhhh.
I’ve been on the fence about breast augmentation for years. If money wasn’t an issue I’d likely consider it more seriously. Also, lately I would like to try botox for my 11’s. FI is in support of the breast augmentation but not the botox for some reason.
The only thing I would seriously consider getting done is a breast reduction and lift. I’m very large busted and it causes back and neck pain, and after three accumulative years of breastfeeding (with more ahead, godwilling) they look horrible. I’m also sooo over having to wear super expensive, uncomfortable bras every minute of the day and forgot about bathing suit tops. My mom and sister have the same build as me, and have both had reductions. They are two of the toughest, no nonsense women I know and both said the recovery was horrible and they each had at least a day or two of just crying from the pain. Sooo Im pretty chicken to actually do it lol.
