I have a job (it’s been 3 years) that I work 7 days a week earning $2000.00 bring home pay per month – I only work 4-5 hours at night – perks? I have basically the whole day to myself, from 6 am to bedtime, to do shopping, running errands, stay home and cook, play on computer – I sleep between 5:00 pm to 1:00 am
If I get a full time job earning minimum wage I will be bringing home $1220 working 8 hours per day, and evenings to myself, going out doing errands and shopping at night when every body else is doing theirs, but I will be sleeping at night and I will have weekends off
What would you do? Would you change to work during the day earning less money but have a “normal” life like my mother likes to call it?

I would be concerned about whether that sleep schedule is healthy, but you seem happy with it. I would just do what I think would make me happiest. Do you have an SO and do you feel you spend enough time together with this schedule?

I value my two days off each weekend. As PP says, sleep is important too. I’ve been getting up at 6am for 10 years, i don’t think i could change my sleep scheduled like that again.

If you are happy with your schedule and the higher pay of your current job, I don’t see a reason to switch to the other job. Your situation might change later where the second job is a better fit, but it seems like the first job is just fine for you now.
