My original plan was to do a layered two page Thank you/Menu bound together at the top to set at each place setting similar to theis but just two pages (top thank you, second page menu) so no cover…you get the idea

But to tell you the truth, my DIY train is starting to hault and I just don’t feel like doing it, ha! I have a VP groupon and was just going to print them on there and bound them myself but I kinda want to go even easier and just do double sided…thank you on one side and menu on the other. If I alternated at each seat so one had a menu up, the next had a thank you up and so on, would you know to flip it over and that there was a back side? Fiance keeps telling me nobody will figure out to turn it over and miss one side or the other but I don’t think he has enough faith in the human kind haha.
My other ideas were to put thank you side up at all place settings and then put a little “menu on reverse” or something at the bottom but that feels tacky to me. I already have table numbers and votives on the tables and larger centerpieces so I didn’t really want to just put the menu on the table, either.
WDYT?

I am curious and typically will flip a piece of paper over to see what is on the back on my own, even without a direction. Not sure about other people though.

I would to you could always put in small letters in the corner to turn over so if people don’t think to turn it over they should see that.

@ellbell921: I would go with your Fiance and assume someone WONT flip it. They’ll need an indicator because if its a complete letter they may not understand and just think you didn’t have the budget for 1 per person and so did alternating.

@beachbride1216: That’s how I am, too. Especially if the person next to me has something different than I have….I know I’d think to flip it over but maybe it’s just us?

At a table of 6-8 people, at least one will flip it over, and you would think they would comment on it, especially if someone mentions they got something different than their neighbors. I don’t see a point in putting a note to flip it over.

If you alternate, they will notice the difference and check theirs.

Most people will flip it over, but if you’re really worred about it, put small numbers at the bottom of the page.

I know for me, if I’m sitting there with a fancy peice of paper, I would more than likely pick it up and look on all sides of it. I guess I do that with everything, especially if I’m wondering about a menu, I think I would honk to look there, and I think it’s safe to say most people would flip it too.

On our STD, our date & location info are on a sticker, on the back. There is no room on the front. Both Fiance & I think people will naturally flip it over. Mainly because we think others will be thinking its missing & start looking. Turning over is natural.
I turn everything over but I’m also extremely detail oriented & nosey. Lol

on our RSVP’s we put 1/2 the info on the back, we put a little arrow at the bottom to indicate there was information on the back. Maybe you can do something subtle like that?
