Sometimes I think about leaving because I think people want me gone, but I think that’s more about my spells of self-loathing than anything that anyone else is actually thinking.

@PGsHotBride:  yeah, she said it in a sort of round about way, but it was what she was getting at. But I have had some junk in my trunk all my life so I am used to defending my curves. 😉

@SpecialSundae:  That’s what my social media anxiety feel like sometimes.  It’s an awful feeling.

@PGsHotBride: You have my deepest sympathy. I’m absolutely fine with Facebook. It’s only on forums that I get it.

@SpecialSundae:  That’s interesting.  Maybe yours stems from the anonymity–because people don’t know you they don’t understand or appreciate you?  Mine is the opposite.  I feel like I’m under a microscope on sites like fb.  really weird.

I wouldn’t deactivate my account if I didn’t like how someone responded to me.  (You can’t possibly give anyone that kind of control!)

I find this site very fun to be on… And even though I’m married, I still enjoy looking at other brides’ dresses, rings, ideas, etc… And I especially love the lounge!

I guess I’ll leave when I become bored with it.  But I don’t see that happening any time soon.  I remember leaving Myspace because everyone went to facebook; but I hated facebook so I deleted that a long time ago.  Plus I haven’t found another site similar to weddingbee that I like.

I won’t deactivate, doesn’t seem worth it. My posts would still be out there. I usually just get bored with forums, same topics with the same answers. Sometimes if I leave for a while and come back it helps.

@WillyNilly:  Agreed

I can take a little heat now and then, and I know we don’t all always agree. But if a positive environment turns into a hostile one. I’m out. I have better things to do with my time. I probably wouldn’t even deactivate I just wouldn’t bother coming anymore.

@SpecialSundae:  I often feel the exact same way.  A lot of times I log off wondering “What is getting lost in translation here?  I am kind and genuinely care for people.  Why am I so often misunderstood?”  It really bothers me if I think about it too much. 🙁

@.twist.:  “I think it would take a banning or boredom to make me leave.”

Same here.  I’m not going to let something a anonymous stranger on the internet says make me leave a place I’m enjoying.

@limegreenbride:  Haha I know what you mean! I could slip into WB oblivion and only my husband would notice because I’d be off the computer!
