Not a chance! my mom would have never let me walk out the door in that at 15…and I wouldn’t let my daughter either (if I had one)!

…it doesn’t seem that bad to me. I wore things like that at 15, and I turned out fine. Maybe I’m just from a less conservative area.

As someone who is very close with the high schools dances in my city, that is actually very modest with what girls wear to dances. Granted I wouldn’t even wear that myself. Just something to think about

absolutely NOT. I am amazed at what people will let their children walk out of the house in these days (short shorts, skirts, etc). this dress is awful. I would think a women looked inappropriate in this dress, def not OK for a 15 year old..

and, i recommend not to tell her that she is not old enough for the dress. That will just make her want to dress like that (remember when you are young you cannot wait to grow up? :D). Its not about age, its about modesty and respect for your body.

No, it’s a little too clubby for a 15 year old. Not to mention it’s hideously ugly!

No I wouldn’t let her wear it. I’m only 24 and even I think this is inappropriate. What type of message is she hoping to send?

I’d definitely say no…

HOWEVER – I live in Miami and I have honestly seen outfits like this on a daily basis (seriously – this is like a day dress if you take away the sequins) on girls who are probably 13…

sooo — I would say no, but I could see how it wouldn’t be totally shocking or lewd in some areas of the country.

If she has no curves whatsoever…. MAYBE. Most likely no but it would really depend on how it fit her.
