That happened years ago…I pity the poor girl that she didn’t have guidance and love herself and I think that ‘man’ is a total sleezy creep.

I have 2 daughters, and that’s a HARD no. You can bet that I’d also be turning the pedophile into the authorities as well.

southerncharm:  If you want something really horrifying (and recent) read this. A father drives a pregnant 14 year old to Utah to marry her 25 year old rapist because he did get her pregnant. Father and rapist are in jail. This Courtney stodden thing is old, she married for fame. It worked

Cory_loves_this_girl:  a hard no AND getting the authorities involved -> YES.

NO. Never. Not to teach her a lesson, not to know that she’d come back a few years later and say you were right, not so I could say I told you so, not because I feared she’s run away with him, not because I was afraid of driving a wedge between us, not because she might do it 2 years later on her own, not because I caved in, just NO.

I would consider it a huuuuuuuuuuge FAILURE on my part if I were to even consider saying yes to that scenario. I would NEVER hand my kid over to a pedophile.

Oh please. I don’t think the fame whoring Courteney stodden is a good example for this.  She was dying for attention and ate it up when she married doug. Without the attention this got her she would have still been a big no one. Her and her mother are a good PR match. She didn’t get enough fame from the stunt and is now crying wolf.

NO. Wtf is wrong with some people?

That woman lost some of the most important and formative years of her childhood.

    Hell no!!!!

I believe Courtney Stodden’s parents granted consent because of money and publicity. Courtney was of course on board because she wanted fame. Have you seen Courtney and Doug’s past interviews…she was basically auditioning for porn right in front of the cameras. They’re both creepy AF.

Nope, no way, never in a billion years. I wouldn’t give my permission for my 16 year old to marry anyone, let alone a creepy, much older man.
