I’m doing this for my BM’s along with writing them a letter about why I want them in my wedding & how much they mean to me. It’s such a big help since they are already paying for a dress, shoes, etc. I may be ordering special Bridesmaid or Best Man cookies to put in a box just to give them a little more. 🙂

I’d love to not have to pay for a dress, hair, or makeup lol. Sounds great to me! Specially a convertible dress which could be worn again. Heck yeah!

I think these gifts sound like they’re really for you. I’d never be getting my hair and makeup done on a random Saturday if it wasn’t for your wedding. I’d never be buying a royal purple dress if it wasn’t for your wedding.
What about a well thought out gift card for each BM? It can be to a store/restaurant that each woman would appreciate.

As long as I’m not out any money (like a DW) and you’re feeding me, I probably wouldn’t need a gift and would love to be pampered! But if I have to purchase a bunch of stuff that I’ll never use again, a gift is pretty thoughtful. Hope this helps.

i wanted to do this for my girls but just couldnt, i AM paying for their hair and makeup however. but did also do a gift for them, i made them all a “survival kit” for the day that included a small bottle of wine, nail polish, ped set, flip flops( they are wearing for the wedding) advil, mints, deoderant, body spray ect. I also made them each a small personlized photo holder and a bracelet that has a charm on it that i picked individually for each girl that fits her personality, and a “bridesmaid” wine glass….

I would be more than happy to receive that as a bridesmaid. I genuinely would be excited and honored to be a bridesmaid for any of my friends, so even though a gift is a nice gesture I just don’t feel like it should be expected. If you’re worried that your BMs might not take this as a token of your appreciation, I like the idea of writing each one a personal, handwritten note.
