I am going to get them a couple other things as well, but had thought about getting my bridesmaids this robe to be worn over a tank top and shorts or something while getting ready. Would you like something like this? It is kind of a teeshirt/jersey material.

@EffieTrinket: Meh. I have a robe already that I don’t wear often.
If it’s summer and people are wearing shorts and a tank, I don’t see the need to wear a robe over. Sure it will look cute in pictures and if you want to get them this just to look cute in pictures go for it.
If this is a part of a gift, I’d pass.

I would! I wear pjs every day, as soon as I get home from somewhere those are on my body. Ican’t stand wearing street clothes at home (unless I have a company or something). So I have several robes of varying thickness/length for throughout the year. I would definitely get a lot of use out of that.

@EffieTrinket: I have one similar to that (sounds like same material) and wear it almost daily 🙂

@EffieTrinket: I like it! Where is it from? I wanted a thinner robe.

Thanks, all! I think the consensus is that as long as it isn’t THE gift, the ladies won’t mind wearing them at least just for pics. I thought about doing the fancy floral satin ones, but honestly I think they’d rather have something useful (considering a necklace and Naked palette, and I already got them a makeup bag) and a robe, than just a fancy robe.
It’s from Target. They are on sale for ELEVEN DOLLARS
. I got one for each of my ladies for under $60 including shipping. Not all the colors are on sale, but I kind of liked the pinkish purple, anyway.

I love robes, so yeah, I’d wear the crap out of that bad boy.
And thanks for sharing where you found it!

I am the oddball, sorry. I do not like long sleeves on anything (I get too hot) and bc of that I do not wear robes. If I was to wear one after an event like someones wedding, it would probably be one with short sleeves like a kimono robe.

I totally think I’d wear something like that to be cozy at home, I’m just not a big fan of pink.
But if it’s to co-ordinate in wedding photos rather than for personal style of each bridesmaid, do what you like 🙂 (Unless they’re all fans of pink, which would work out nicely!)

Well a silky robe I think I’d like better, personally.

I have that exact same robe!!!
I like them, and the idea of getting them embroidered with their names or titles like “Maid of Honor” and “Bridesmaid”
