I paid about $250 for mine, so yes.  I had never spent so much on jewelry before in my life! But it is your wedding, when else are you going to buy fancy jewelry like this for yourself? 🙂 Go for it!

Especially if its something you plan on wearing again after the wedding

ETA: Just think about how much you spent on your dress + alterations, and how you will only wear that once. Is the necklaces something you are only going to wear once?

I’m not, but only because I’m going for statement shoes. Otherwise, I think it’s worth having at least one statement accessory.

For a necklace that you love and is going to be in a million pictures and could essentially make your outfit, I definitely would. It also sounds like you could wear it again which is great.
