So this is where the ceremony will be held, facing the water of course.
Im planning to put chairs, runner, rustic tabe for the wine box for the officiant, and tall planters by the runner at the beggining and end of chairs in the walking direction.
I think the view is so beautiful, and the beauty of the place itself is so natural, that if I add an Arch it will just overwelm the place and we would not get the best out of the venue??
What do you think? Any suggestions?

I think it would look fine with or without an arch. Do you have a theme? If so what is it? Is the wedding going to be fancy or casual?

it will be a semiformal even. Not casual, but not black tie. My theme is classic – romantic, soft neutral colors.

@JAM1982: I am not a fan of arches so I may be a little biased and I say NO!

I wouldn’t use an arch. As long as your chairs and the planters are lined up with the trees, you already have a perfect focal point for the ceremony.

@JAM1982: I debated this same question with my venue. They had a really pretty antique arch that I could have used, but ultimately both my hubby and I felt that the venue was so pretty we didn’t need it. We also did a wine box and had a whiskey barrel up front for the wine box. The chairs in the field really defined the ceremony site. I suspect your venue will be similar.
So, based on the photo you posted, I’d vote with out.

@MrsBrown13: +1. I dont like arches either and I dont think this space needs an arch.

I vote no arch! I also vote no aisle runner – They get stuck in the ground if you or anyone else wears heels!
