kitty_cupcake:  That is great news!! I’m just reading this for the first time, but it’s very encouraging! I’m in a similar boat and have been at my job 9 years! We’re trying to buy a house so I need to stick it out until we finally get a home, otherwise we won’t be able to get a loan… But hearing this job came through is very encouraging! I hope it’s all you want it to be. And that commute sounds awful!! That’s one of my challenges too!! 10 minutes sounds like a dream!

Congrats on your new job offer.  I have quit a job without another lined up due to an intolerable work situation.  I did also have a years worth of income saved and a supportive boyfriend.  For me that was why I had bJuly an emergency savings so that I could put my mental and emotional health first.  It was worth it.  It took me six months to find something else but I was prepared financially and it felt good being able to leave on my own terms. its not for everyone but for me personally life is too short and I was heading for a mental breakdown.  I’m very happy you found something else prior and will not have to make that difficult decision
